Indigenous Wisdom & ACT

NYC ACBS Presents

Indigenous Wisdom & ACT

With Jesse Stamell & Dr. Carlos Rivera
Thursday, December 12th at 12 PM ET

We’re excited to invite you to Indigenous Wisdom & ACT, a unique event hosted by NYC ACBS that explores the intersection of indigenous wisdom and ACT.

Together, as a community, we will learn from the profound insights of elders from the Americas, discuss how indigenous perspectives align with ACT principles in promoting mental health, well-being, and healing, and discover practical ways to integrate these wisdoms into our personal and professional lives.

Attendees will learn to:

  • Understand approaches to be in contact with the present

  • Relate indigenous wisdom to contextual behavioral science

This is a meaningful opportunity to deepen your understanding of diverse approaches to healing and connect with others who are passionate about expanding the boundaries of mental health practices.

Don’t miss this chance to enrich your journey as a therapist, professional, or lifelong learner.

When: December 12th at 12-1 PM
Where: Virtual
Cost: $10 for Members | $15 for Non-Members | $5 for Students
