Juneteenth Panel Discussion

NYC ACBS & Mid Atlantic ACBS Presents:

A Juneteenth Celebration: Committed Action Towards Black Liberation

In this roundtable discussion, panelists will talk about their experiences as Black- and African American-identified practitioners of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In celebration of Juneteenth, they will reflect on the significance of the holiday and address themes of freedom and justice within the context of systemic racism and oppression. The application of ACT towards personal and collective liberation will be explored, while addressing the influence of intersectional identities.
