Don't Fear the Reaper: ACT for Death Anxiety

Don’t Fear the Reaper: ACT for Death Anxiety

With Dr. Devin Guthrie

Tuesday, October 29th at 7 PM ET

Join Us for a Powerful Workshop on Death Acceptance and Psychological Flexibility!

Death vitalizes life—if we allow it. Embracing death acceptance can deepen our connection to our values, foster stronger relationships, and enhance our appreciation for life itself. In this experiential workshop, you'll learn how to leverage the power of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to promote death acceptance, and discover how death acceptance, in turn, can enhance ACT and encourage psychological flexibility.

The presentation will offer a crash course in Terror Management Theory, exploring how death anxiety shows up in our lives and why our strategies for avoiding it can be so deeply ingrained and harmful. You'll also engage in ACT-based exercises designed to help your clients confront their fears and find peace with their mortality.

Just in time for Halloween, this event flips the script on our culture’s spooky stories about death and reveals how embracing death acceptance can transform both your practice and our society. Don’t miss this chance to explore the power of ACT and death acceptance!

Hope to see you there!

When: October, 29th at 7-8:30 PM ET
